Custom columns, filters
I saw a TED talk once. It talked about the future of software, and a guy gave predictions that in the future, columns will not just be static, set in stone by the developer. You could actually change them! If someone were brave an innovative enough to take a shot at it, it would be you! Come on, I know it's a moonshot, but I believe you could do it!
They also mentioned something called "filters." I have no idea what it means. Seemed impossibly difficult to implement or even understand. Who knows. Sounded great, though.
if you use lens instead of openlens you'll get the futuristic ability of non-static columns
@AvihaiSam What do you mean?
That's hardly useful. Why can I choose arbitrary columns in kubectl but not in Lens? It's garbage. I was trying to be nice in my OP, but a year on I have to say that Lens is pathetic. This is important. There's all sorts of labels or annotations that I'd like to see and filter by (eg node pool, instance type, etc.)
