Not able to activate free version of Lens desktop

Hi Team Recerntly I was trying to use free version of Lens desktop and subsribed to it using my personal Github account , When trying to activate it I am getting error in browser - The connection for this site is not secure steps followed - image

Same challenge here. Is it that we were mistaken in trying to use the desktop (pro) version offered on the k8slens.dev site? Does that have no means to convert to the free/Personal version, perhaps? OK, but looking here I find no binaries. The readme doesn't clarify this matter, and yet there's only this one issue raised the past couple of months.

Is it that some of us are showing ourselves to be clueless in feeling lost on this matter? Just looking for some help, as newcomers to Lens.

I totally appreciate that a freemium model can be challenging, economically. Not trying to steal anything (not even a frequent user), and certainly no disrespect to those who run the project/company and others who offer support here. Just trying to understand how to work with it in the stated freemium model (free for businesses below $10m in revenue).
