@niko-lay Interesting! I've reopened then to examine it, as maybe snapd is doing something fancy with the portals. Are you using X11 or Wayland? The only things I can see...

@johngaltwork thanks for the further info! I'm starting to think this is related to it not using portals correctly on X11.

Thanks both! I did some more digging and found that this appears to be an issue with core24 snaps and window sharing on X11. I've created #234 to temporarily revert...

Huh... and now after playing with that and popping back into the current mode it's not working for me on Wayland anymore either.

There was a snapd issue that caused this on KDE, but it was fixed a few months ago. Idk whether Fedora got the update though.

I'm getting a portal-based file picker on my machine (Kubuntu 25.04, using Wayland) and was able to upload a file from an sftp share using it. (Using the [fish protocol](https://docs.kde.org/trunk5/en/kio-extras/kioslave5/fish/)...

I can't replicate this on KDE Neon with Plasma 6.1.3 and Discord 0.0.60. @YamiYukiSenpai is this still happening for you?

Thanks for the PR! It's not snapcraft that's failing here, it's [review-tools](https://snapcraft.io/review-tools). Specifically, I think the reason for it is this bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/review-tools/+bug/2081240 You should be able to reproduce this...
