I just updated to the latest keybase, and it seems to work ok now, i'll keep an eye on it for a few days tho.

Wine's not an option for me - my $HOME is on NFS and wine really does not work well on that... I'll just have patience and use the gnome otp...

I have the filters in place, and fail2ban has been restarted any number of times by now, but still the status shows 0 failures and 0 bans for both wordpress-hard...

my firewall is up and running, and everything else I do with fail2ban works just fine... I'm using the fail2ban jail that is part of the plugin docs, maybe there...

just a guess: the daemon name in the filters is "wp" - but on my wp multisite the daemon name in /var/log/messages is wp(blogname), could that be the reason why...

Any progress on this?

sounds about right to me... no need to follow this silly trend where any app no matter what it does eventually also contains a built in web browser, email client,...

Nextcloud 14 is released by now....

...the last commit by the author of these apps was in february...
