could you send a screenshot of the folder /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/MaterialKit.framework in filza? potentially also the Assets.car file as well

Very odd, it should definitely work. If you want to do it manually, you can corrupt the assets.car through filza or something in case it is cowabunga that is not applying
