flatpak / flathub support
Publishing a flatpak package to flathub for Linux/SDL2 would probably make lem easier to install on a variety of linux distros. I couldn't find another issue where it was discussed. Thoughts?
I guess is just that someone has to do it, would be interesting indeed, as some people can download/run it more easily (I think we can maybe do something similar to https://github.com/flathub/com.dhsdevelopments.Climaxima/commit/b6c17b98a0a4648681cb7e93de27a03aab00ce85 )
An AppImage could be interesting as well. Particularly, as portable solutions, I like more AppImage than flatpak/snap
I was struggling with flatpak and AppImage, but decided to go with AppImage.
Reasons
- it can place a single file in the GitHub release.
- flatpak's sandboxing is incompatible with editors that require interaction with external environments (mainly files).
@cxxxr Thank you for your work. nightly builds + appimage is pretty useful for the community!
