While working on #190 I figured out that this PR and #117 which it fixes should both be closed because the issue's desired behavior is already implemented.

Add support for disabling colors

Color isn't really a property of the layout since annotations are preserved unchanged in `SimpleDocStream ann` after layout but before rendering, e.g. when using `layoutPretty`. You can easily ignore colors...
