Keyboard shortcut to download an attachment I'm viewing, or save it to Drive?
While reading an email I received, I can click the thumbnail of any attachment and view that file. While viewing it, I can also download it, print it, or save it to drive, by clicking the corresponding button in the top right hand corner. I can also print the attachment I'm viewing by pressing the ctrl-P shortcut.
I haven't been able to find any keyboard shortcuts to perform the other 2 actions, and I was wondering if it might be possible to add them.
Shouldn't be too hard to add... Shift+D
will download in Google Photos, so I could use that. And maybe Shift+G
for save to Google Drive?
Those shortcuts would work for me, yes.
By the way, after a file is downloaded and saved, there is a banner at the bottom of the screen to give direct access to the file. I tend to never do that, and close the notification banner by clicking the x on the right. Any chance you could add a shortcut to close that notification banner as well (or perhaps even a setting to disable it entirely)?
