"Select Multiple Conversations" conflicts with "`J`/`K`" custom shortcuts
If I have J
/K
configured in gmail's shortcuts (I have it set up archive + go to next/prev), it seems to be overridden by the "Select Multiple Conversations" option in Simplify. When I turn that off, J
/K
work fine.
I figure that this was done as an alias since it makes sense (j
/k
go up/down, makes sense that J
/K
are synonyms for shift+up/down), however I would expect that shortcuts in Gmail take precedence over "aliases" that aren't even called out in the Simplify preferences UI. I still would like to have that option enabled, but I just want it to only be shift+up/down.
Thanks for the report. I currently don't have any way of knowing you have applied custom keyboard shortcuts.
I think you've already hit on the best solution for now: disable Simplify's shortcut for selecting multiple messages.
I'll leave this open and try to think of a better solution at some point. I'd rather not have separate options for shift+up/down and shift+j/k.
