Automation Action to Set value for Alfen Power Connector Max Current Socket 1 fails

This has always been working but this has not working for some time now! (since HA 2024.8 or Alfen firmware 7??). Anyway, log file give this error:

This error originated from a custom integration.

Unexpected error on UPDATE VALUE

The strange thing is that if I run the Action manually from the Automation screen, it does work!?

I am running Alfen integration 2.8.9.
