Amount are doubled when sorting the column in GL report with Subtotal checked

Sorting(ordering) the Debit or Credit column while enabling the subtotal in General Ledger Report doubled the actual amount for that column. Please see the screen recording below.

Looking at the screen recording, i see section totals being introduced at the end of each section in the sorted field. This is by design and applies to all reports. The totals are still correct though, right?
