Desired behavior
Drop shadows are already outlined in our code library, and should also be reflected across Figma components for designers.
Current behavior
Drop shadows are arbitrarily applied by designers, which has led to slightly inconsistent designs at handoff and differences between features in production.
not sure if it's for this issue or a separate one, but currently material design elevation conventions, default z-index values, and drop shadow css classes also need to be documented
