Enhance the navigational smoothness

Open aronasorman opened this issue 10 years ago • 3 comments

Most of KA Lite development and usage happens in desktop PCs, which has a relatively large amount of memory and processing power compared to mobile devices such as tablets and smartphones. In the process of wrapping KA Lite for the Android tablets we've encountered some stuttering in the interface due to this constrained environment.

The KA Lite team will want to enhance the navigational smoothness of the UI by doing heavy optimizations in the assets and Javascript files.

Does "driving on butter" count as smooth navigation?

Sounds smooth, indeed! Until you crash, of course, due to issues with steering and brakes.

by way of saying hopefully the structure will be built to alllow folks to craft their own interface for the knowledge web/tree/spider's nest. I'm thinking Jodie Foster in Contact. Happy T-giving all!
