Building Moonscript as an executable on Windows

It seems like the process for this was different back in 2016 (when 0.5.0 came out) and today. Is there any way to build a (single) static executable for Moonscript right now to get all the latest Moonscript features, or is the build a LuaRocks package exclusively now?

This branch should still work, the build process on windows hasn't changed https://github.com/leafo/moonscript/tree/binaries

Ah, I see! Does that branch have a submodule of the master branch then?
