@nashalexander is right that is working as designed although I agree it’s not intuitive - I like the solution of adding a regenerate button and I’ll merge that PR soon!...

so far I haven't been able to repro this - do you mind sharing what OS you're using and what version of chrome you're on? that might help me recreate...
