Do you have some references about this? I would like to contribute!

Awesome! You should read the rfc drafts (jwt, jwa, jws and jwe).

So .. @lcobucci I don't want to be rude but why on earth is this feature not done yet. I require it to prove some people wrong on twitter, so you can clearly see I needed this yesterday.

Hugs and kisses,

Frank

Hi @frankdejonge,

If some people on Twitter are looking for JWE support on PHP, you can appease them by answering some libraries already exist (jwt.io is a good start to find them). It is right to say that this feature was planned long time ago, but @lcobucci is working on that library almost alone and, you can trust me, the implementation of that feature is not so easy.

Hi @Spomky,

I know @lcobucci personally, I was merely teasing him (here and on twitter). I'm very very appreciative of his work and I believe he knows that. But I do recognise that such remarks, without the required context, can be misinterpreted easily. I also do appreciate you reaching out like this, even providing a direction for a solution. That's the level of community participation I think more people should aspire to. So 👍

That feature would be awesome so my token are even more secure. I am reading right now the proposed IETF standard.
