You need to initialize SPI with the pins you've assigned before you call SD.begin. I assume you don't care whether it is actually VSPI, but just want to use SPI....
What is 33 & 14 there? Your client select pin for the SD card is 13 according to your schematic.

C6 will not be supported until ESP-IDF 5.1, so arduino will not support it until that is released.
@LenReinhart This is a very early release. It is intended for the people that will build those pieces. As suglider says, it will take some time.
