Set `availability` failing after upgrade to 0.10.8

Describe the bug After upgrading to 0.10.8 I get a rejection when setting availability to on

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Click 'available' button
  2. Wait a few seconds

Expected behavior Button should stay on
