Just a general comment on the current ODD processor: it really doesn't do error reporting. The code is (as they say) gnarly and occasionally redundant or even just plain inexplicable....

This good news reminds me that something still needs to be done about the fact that odd2odd generates invalid source. Maybe the patch Piotr suggests on #319 is not such...

Curiously, this doesn't seem to happen if the <idno type="DOI"> is followed by a <ptr>
