Profile picture URL validation rejects valid image links from Google Drive
Description
On the newcomers form at https://layer5.io/newcomers, when trying to paste a Google Drive link as the profile picture, the form shows the error:
"URL must point to an image file (jpg, jpeg, png, svg, webp or gif)"
Expected Behavior
The form should either:
- Accept valid Google Drive links that resolve to image files, OR
- Provide clearer instructions on acceptable formats (e.g., requiring direct image links ending with
.jpg,.png, etc.).
