Can't change markdown settings for published notes

Current behaviour

1. Go to settings > markdown and verify that "enable soft breaks" and "enable ~sup~ syntax" are both disabled.
2. Publish a note to Joplin Cloud with content similar to the following:

   This is
   a
   test
   publsihed
   note
   with
   
   multiple
   new
   ~lines~.
   

3. Open the note in a browser.
4. Compare with the note rendered in Joplin's note viewer.

Currently, soft breaks and ~sup~ syntax are enabled in the published note, but not Joplin's note viewer:

Expected behaviour

The published note should have the same markdown settings as the Joplin application that published them.
