I assume you tried restarting your computer? Otherwise, does it work in safe mode? https://joplinapp.org/help/apps/debugging/#safe-mode

Yes antivirus would make sense. Could you maybe try to disable it completely to see if that helps? (maybe exclusion is not enough if certain data files are blocked too)
Ok I seem to remember that in that case we can't reliability know who made the commit. So maybe we should fallback to not put any link in this case...
Note: Username is fine (commit was done by user named bartolomeo), it's the link that is incorrect.
Do we need that extra button? I think the button in the bottom right corner alone could do the job?
Right, I forgot that the bottom button is hidden in Edit mode. But I think it's fine to make it visible in that case since it's always possible to scroll...
