I updated my Ubuntu from 19.04 to 19.10, now I have GNOME Shell 3.34.1 and the extension failed to laod. Error spotted in LG :

TypeError: this.systemMenu._actionsItem is undefined

Sound like you have installed the Ubuntu-Package?

If so, you might see https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=941892. Can you check on which package version you are?

No, I always use "extensions.gnome.org" site.

Same issue here with Ubuntu 19.10 and GNOME 3.34.1, installed from extensions site:

Please try to uninstall the extension site version and install the version from the packaging system. The Debian package version 0~git20191005-1 should work with gnome 3.34; at least it does here on my machine, though it is on Debian (testing)…

Unistall/reinstall is not enough. Logout/login or reboot is required to activate the new version. Looks like the old code is cached somewhere, but I have no time to investigate further.

Fedora 31, can't get it to show up with gnome 3.34.1. Tried removing, reinstalling from software center, then rebooting, but still nothing.

hmm... might actually be that gnome shell extensions are just broken for me. Still testing that. Assume its my OS install for now.

ALT-F2 and then the command 'r' will save you the reboot.
