Password reset when IPA is using 2FA?

I'm not sure if there's a solution, but if we're using 2FA with FreeIPA (password and Google Authenticator) how do we configure for a password reset? Any ideas? I think you'd somehow have to drop the requirement for the Google Auth on the reset webpage and accept the second factor you're pushing out. Any ideas?
