--notify always reports "Connected" after ~20 secs

BluetoothConnector --notify $MAC (with $MAC == my airpods) always reports "Successfully connected" after 20 secs. This happens even while another terminal window runs BluetoothConnector --status $MAC in a loop and always shows "Disconnected".

That's odd. Could you try with 2.1.0?

Problem still present with 2.1.0 in macOS 14.2.
