FB11794189 / FB11662156 - Can't update Safari app extension without quitting Safari

If Safari is running, then you can't update a Safari app extension from the Mac App Store. When you click Update in the App Store, you get an alert that says Close "Safari" to Update. This is extremely inconvenient to users, because a lot of them don't want to close Safari, so they have to postpone the update. It's also extremely inconvenient to Safari extension developers, because we have to deal with user complaints and reluctance to update. Safari doesn't need to be quit to update Safari web extensions from the Mac App Store, so it makes no sense that Safari needs to be quit to update Safari app extensions. A related bug is that when you click the Cancel button in the alert, it doesn't cancel, it just shows the alert a second time. Screen Shot 2022-11-15 at 9 09 16 PM

I just discovered that I filed duplicate Feedbacks FB11794189 Can't update Safari app extension without quitting Safari and FB11662156 Update app extensions from the Mac App Store without quitting Safari

However, Apple hasn't marked them as duplicates.
