After several discussions in maintainers chat. It is better to close this one and correctly implement the issue, even when it requires a rewrite. I'm also reopening the issue. Thanks...
As long as the maintainers keep merging pull requests, I would say that this project is still alive. If contributions get lost, then we have a problem.
In your dev dependencies, try to stick the PHPUnit version to 10.3.4, as I did [here](https://github.com/Digital-Peak/DPDocker/commit/e1666f907b9b4a46edb2d3de7d413eedbf856244). Does that help?
That should be fine, as long as it is not 10.4.1. But then I think you problem is not related to mine.
