I have tagged tilda 2.0.0 and uploaded a new release to Debian unstable. It should migrate to testing soon and will then sync to Ubuntu 24.04.

This was a long time ago. I dont think I found a workaround. I guess in the end I just settled with using HTML 5 instead.

I don't have any time to work on this at the moment.

Since 2.0 we support the simpler Ctrl+C short cut and this might have changed the behavior for selections. I need to check if that also applies to ctrl+shift+c.
