Writing a comma and a full stop without space in Italian makes LanguageTool suggesting an endless loop, every time I click the proposed correction it will repeat itself. You can test it easily by setting Italian on LanguageTool Editor and pasting Ciao,.
and Ciao.,
(Ciao means Hello 👋😄). Moreover, a comma right after a full stop (no space between them) LanguageTool doesn't detect anything wrong in any text.
To write a proper rule, we will need a list of possible abbreviations followed by a dot, so that p. es.,
doesn't trigger the rule. Where can we find a good list of abbreviations?
