1. Is this request related to a challenge you're experiencing? Tell me about your story.

Since Ragflow has enhanced document-handling capabilities, particularly with DeepDoc, it could be beneficial for Dify to integrate some of these features via Ragflow’s APIs or SDK. This integration could leverage Ragflow's advanced document processing to improve Dify's performance and functionality.

+1 I posted a feature request in Ragflow issues as well, asking for a retrieval API that can be integrated with Dify's external knowledge base feature.

Hi, @Howe829. I'm Dosu, and I'm helping the Dify team manage their backlog. I'm marking this issue as stale.

Issue Summary:

  • You proposed integrating RAGFlow's DeepDoc capabilities into Dify to enhance document handling.
  • Suggested using RAGFlow's APIs or SDK for this integration and expressed interest in contributing.
  • @taowang1993 supported the idea and mentioned requesting a retrieval API from Ragflow for integration with Dify's external knowledge base.

Next Steps:

  • Please let me know if this issue is still relevant to the latest version of the Dify repository by commenting here.
  • If there is no further activity, this issue will be automatically closed in 15 days.

Thank you for your understanding and contribution!

Hi, @taowang1993. RAGflow has supported Dify KB API in there latest version. (See https://x.com/infiniflowai/status/1851950422069776644) You can try connecting to RAGflow's Knowledge using our new feature -- External Knowledge API. Here are the documents that might be helpful:

I will close this issue as completed. If you encounter any problem during connecting to external knowledge with Dify, you can create a new issue. Again, thank you for your contribution for your community !
