It is recommended to add an optional "Model Alias" field when integrating OpenAI-API-compatible model providers. When this alias field is added, a hybrid display of the model name and alias can be used in both the Agent and model provider interfaces. This approach aims to facilitate the identification of LLM types used in models with non-standard naming conventions, while also allowing the inclusion of the provider's name in the alias to indicate the source of the model.

For example, the model type "ep-202*******-7c6lz" in the figure below is a non-standard model name. From the characters alone, it is impossible to discern the specific LLM type or its origin. By adding an alias field, the model's type and provider information can be clearly labeled, thereby improving identification and management efficiency.
