Slow response time (API vs Playground)

Bug Description

It's a lot slower to trigger chats via API than in Playground.

In Playground, it will say it takes <2 seconds, however through the API.. it takes a lot longer.

Reproduction

1. Trigger chat via API

Expected behavior

Expecting the same response time, as in Playground.
