MultiDoge window doesn't pop up on linux

MultiDoge doesn't display a window when I start it on linux. It shows when running after I click on the icon.

$ ps -aux | grep doge
max       416502 13.1  0.8 4957732 65932 ?       Sl   21:26   0:00 /usr/bin/java -jar /home/max/MultiDoge-0.1.7/multidoge-exe.jar

but I have no window. Is there a way I can manually open the window? Think I'm missing smth basic Since I last used it I have upgraded my ubuntu version.
