Add Files in Chat Session

Images and docs can be added when creating a chatbot, but not in a chat session. Is there any plan to add this functionality and/or has anyone discovered a method of doing by either modifying the application or via a workaround? Looking to emulate the functionality of using ChatGPT in GPT4 for analysis and on the fly RAG. The idea is that chatbots could be created with tools made available (specifically document uploads), but the files could be introduced in the chat session (thus not having to create a new chatbot every time a new document or set of documents needs to be used).
