Does ChatBedrock support proper tool-calling?

I'm running into this issue here: https://github.com/langchain-ai/langchain/discussions/22106

From the dosubot response it seems like maybe ChatBedrock LLM does not properly support tool calling the way the create_sql_agent is expecting it to? The official langchain documentation seems to suggest that tool-calling is supported: https://python.langchain.com/v0.2/docs/integrations/chat/

Appreciate it if someone could provide more insight.
