XCode 6 and iOS Simulator 8.0

Open ghost opened this issue 11 years ago • 3 comments

Since updating to XCode 6, I've been unable to launch previous versions of my apps bundled with simlaunch and unable to create new bundles. Looks like XCode restructured the iOS simulator directories again, this time dropping DVTiPhoneSimulatorRemoteClient.framework all together.

It seems that they've rewritten things, and introduced CoreSimulator.framework instead.

I may have time to look at this over the holidays; otherwise, pull requests are welcome.

I wanted to take a little different approach, so instead of suggesting a big rewrite to this project, I made a separate tool: https://github.com/stepanhruda/ios-simulator-app-installer
