Read info from database instead of pbf file.

Hello,

I have two questions about your project, and I'll be very pleased if you can answer them to me.

1 - I have an instance of a certain tool running in a vm, where this tool, read and extract all information from pbf files, to a postgres database. I released that your tool, do almost the same thing, read all the information from a pbf file, and use this information to generated the mbtile file. My question is, is it possible to read the information from a database, instead of reading a pbf file?

2 - This tool may be used to build mbtile from a certain regions like, countries, e.g? I just tested this in a certain region in Brazil, I received a successful message, but, when I run a maptile-server pointing to the generated mbtile, the map have some bugs, not showing part of the map of the choosen region.
