Test in the browser in addition to nodejs

Right now all of our testing happens in nodejs and we assume that browserify will transform our nodejs stuff to correctly functioning browser stuff. We should have [at the very least] some browser smoke tests to ensure that the binary the browserify builds is good. I have had good experiences with karma.
