Looking for maintainers
Hi All. As you can see there hasn't been so much changes, improvements or bug fixes recently, My motivation to work on the application is fairly low (same goes for me other pet projects as well), I haven't been using invidious recently so goes the same for Clipious and I have a hard time finding motivation to work on things that I don't use.
I am currently looking for maintainers. If any one is willing to help on the longer term. I, of course, will take the time to onboard \anyone willing to help.
Thanks !
I'd be interested in helping out. I'm a professional software developer, though generally in the web world. I'm interested in getting my feet wet with android development too, and I help maintain the invidious-companion application too, so I have plenty of motivation to keep it up.
Happy for you to reach out on matrix (@alex:nop.chat) if you'd like to talk more.
Hey, I dont mind maintaining this project I host my own invidious instance & I love the app & would like to add desktop linux support to this app
Hey ! Glad to hear that :) let me know if you need a call so that i can guide you through the code.
@lamarios I appreciate that, I am still rusty with flutter & dart, please give me about 1 month to get more familiar with it
In the mean time, do you have any internal documents for the codebase so I can get familiar with it before we hop on a call?
FYI, I also use Nix(OS), thanks for the shell.nix file :)
Unfortunately I don't have any internal documentation.
Feel free to reach out if you need help.
