subscribed playlists: allow to play a video without the need to fetch the entire list

Hello. If I save a YouTube playlist with a lot of videos and then i open it the app is very slow to download the entire list and allow to play the videos.

If it could be addressed in some way i would like that the playlist updates in background after the first 201 videos (the ones that loads the first time opening the playlist) are fetched, or at least the first video, thanks.
Describe alternatives you've considered
Wait for the playlist to fully load, almost 2 minutes for a playlist with ~4000 videos.
How about, as an option, allowing subscriptions without the need to subscribe to an instance / be logged-in? So storing the subscriptions locally, like bookmarks (which would also be a privacy feature). I'd really like that as a feature and would help with the issue described here.
