Hey @Horopter, what do you mean by "from scratch"? You just need to import the project into Android Studio. Also, do you have any error messages? It's hard to help you without any error messages, logs, etc.

The existing set up uses deprecated ndk. I want to upgrade to android n.

I just wanted to understand the mechanism of the project. If you can provide any documentation as to changing the settings of video compression in terms of quality, bitrate and format; it would be quite helpful to deploy in custom applications.
