Did you try to compress the video using the current version of [Telegram](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.telegram.messenger)?

Don't know how to add this information. As mentioned in the README, this code was generated from the [Telegram for Android](https://github.com/DrKLO/Telegram) source code. I would need to take a look...

It has not been tested properly on Android 6.0. I'd need to update the project according the Telegram for Android app, but...that will require some time. No ETA at this...
