Any Way to Keep Question & Answer Cards the Same Size Within the Same Question?

Hi,

Encourage Question and Answer cards to always be the same size within the same question. Here's my thinking.

For me, my brain is always trying to cheat! :D Always searching for the short cut.

When a small question card then expands boom to a large answer card, seems like...it is THAT instant of transformation that I'm mentally encoding a lot of the time.

So that, in some way, I need to forget - "Oh, yeah! This answer card is HUGE!" Somehow, knowing that there'll be no pyhsical transformation between the sizes of the cards lets me focus more on "What's the answer.

The only metaphor I can come up with would be...if the answers were rolled up in a balloon. And, each time I needed to pop the balloon, stop to pick up the answer, then unroll it.

Somehow, it would be the sight & sound of the popping balloon I'd recall the most.

Whenever the cards change size WITHIN the same question and answer pair, it throws me in sort of the same way for just a second each time. Not only throws me but...in a sense offers me a lifeline. As, I RECALL the big transition between the two more readily and...so it is kind of a shortcut.

One may say "Ah! But, if you started OUT with a big blank card, then that's a clue, too." Yes. True. But, to me, in the absence of that clap from small card to big card there seems to be something added to the system - more than is deducted when the cards are all consistently switching sizes within the same question. Especially over the space of hundreds of cards.

Sincerely,

Acherates

So you only memorize the answer's height if it expands dynamically, that's curious! My initial guess is having the 'See Answer' button reflect the real size of the answer would draw more attention to the answer's size typically. However, I see where you're coming from, and additional option would indeed be nice. I will look into this when I get some time, - and anyone is welcome to PR it on their own in the meantime.
