Pioneer XDP-300r

Hi !

I'm currently leading a personal crusade against Pioneer, particularly for not releasing the XDP-300r stock rom to the public.

Like always, people are tinkering with their devices, and sometimes brick them.

We are currently missing a "safe" way to unlock the bootloader, being that we already know how to put the device in fastboot and EDL modes.

You see, Pioneer's fastboot oem unlock can only be achieved (AFAIK) by booting the device, hence people that didn't took the time to do it and who brick their device are locked out. (Yes, we tried to fastboot oem unlock, and devices basically says "DENIED", and FRP isn't the issue here.)

EDL isn't helping either because of my personal lack of knowledge about it, and I'm not sure 100% that the whole system's image we made is in the right format. (QFIL Sahara protocol)

Tonight, I stumbled upon your amazing exploit and was wondering if by any chance, it could change that one bit that stucks these device.

Pioneer hasn't been helpful by any mean : I wrote mails all around the world in so many languages that I can't list them nor remember. I even wrote in "perfect" japanese, to a head developper at Onkyo/Pioneer who left his email in a cert, inside the rom, without any response...

That being said, I've started a thread on XDA, and I'm willing to open all my knowledge to you if you're interested into help us.
