How to make surface output?

Thanks for your repository, I'd build all of your repository and attach my VLP-16 with ros velodyne driver.

And I'd like to make some 3D model with surface like in your readme.

but with velodyne_launch. I can only see some pointclouds from VLP with SLAM. (also It looses point from faraway, or there are limits for saved pointclouds number?)

Please tell me how to make 3D model with surfaces like you or just point clouds as file
