disable check VoLTE by Operator

Open AHMNco opened this issue 1 year ago • 15 comments

Hi Dear, I know you made this app for Google Pixel, but it's working on some operators in my device as well my device is the Moto X30 Pro, for some operators, I can use VoLTE and VoWIFI, but for some, I can't after a lot of research, I figured out Xiaomi has ##86583*## for disabling check VoLTE, but for Motorola this code is not working if you add an option like this disable check VoLTE and VoWIFI by the operator like Xiaomi already has, I think it would be a great idea with respect and regards

Sorry to say but I don't have both Xiaomi and Motorola devices now... Implementing such methods usually take me to deep dive into actual device's logic.

Please help me, at least tell me help me with User Agent section in your app (you have preset for LG U+), but if you tell me how can I add a value for my device or simulate my device to Samsung Galaxy S23 or something like that, because if Carrier think my device is Samsung VoLTE and VoWIFI will working fine, thank you

@AHMNco Try manipulating the text input area of "User Agent" section. Just type any value over there and click confirm to secure the changes.

The reason is VoLTE for Xiaomi phones not active unless use this code ##86583##, when this code Xiaomi will disable Operator check VoLTE, then when the phone support VoLTE it's automatically starting to working, however, Motorola doesn't support this code, and still Operator decide providing VoLTE or not, I tried many scenarios and still IMS not registered and I can't use VoLTE in some operators, in meantime Samsung and Xiaomi phones working flawlessly in this field, I hope you help me to change my device identity for the operator to Samsung, if it's possible to Opeator detect my phone is Samsung I will get VoLTE easily, you have one option IMS User string if help me what should I enter to this field to force operator detecting my phone as Samsung whole problem will be solved

If you are not IMS registered then you should contact your carrier, they are responsible for turning it on for your SIM card. In orange after I requested new simcard for the same phone number I had to contact them again to enable IMS, because nothing was working on my Pixel 9 Pro to enable VoLte...

since Operator don't do anything, is there any other option? I requested operator several times with several requests, they just telling me is active, but in real isn't active

Sure motorola was the first, but Apple is currently at the top of the game. It doesn't mean anything. Matter of fact is that this doesn't work well on other chinese devices like yours. As I've rephrased, get a real device and test if it works. Otherwise you'll need to talk to your carrier

Apple is biggest scam, some brands playing with advertising like Apple, but in facts Apple has some qualities but a lot of restrictions and disappointment as well However we are not discussing brands, my carrier can't understand what I want, so I have to change carrier or find a way to fix issue

Again, you are being ignorant and stubborn. As I've repeated, it's likely due to your carrier not supporting your device properly and/or your device being the main issue. Getting a real device like Samsung, Google or Apple's will probably get VoLTE working.

And anyways we are way past the main issue that you wanted to fix, that being the ability to disable VoLTE check. Disabling the check won't do anything to fix the main issue - it'll come from your carrier to fix your device.

Your carrier needs to fix your device

Unlucky. In Poland carrier called "Orange" did not enabled volte for any of my simcards (ims status: not registered), even for duplicate which had previously enabled it for the same number. I contacted them few days ago via chat and it was enabled within 10 minutes... It's annyoing but at least works. Other operators enable it automatically, so idk. Maybe something wrong with your sim card?! In my opinion hardware of the phone shouldn't be the issue. You can try flashing custom ROM tho and see how it goes. I would say that motorola default software might have something to do with this issue...
