Unfortunately, we don't have enough devs who care about Windows, but for posterity you could clarify your Windows version. One other option is trying Powershell. It *may* help here.

Actually, never mind. No need to do that.
Pry provides [the `edit` command](https://github.com/pry/pry/wiki/Editor-integration#Edit_command), so you can edit methods in your editor. Making it work like in ipython sounds tremendously useful, too.

I suspect this issue may be closed when https://github.com/pry/pry/issues/2063 is completed. Adding to the milestone, so I don't forget about it.
