Control all app-level sound volume using keyboard / master volume slider ?

Hi there,

First, thanks for the awesome piece of free/open-source software.

I'm wondering if it is possible to control the volume of some/all apps from the dedicated sound volume keyboard keys?

Context:

  • I have a headset plugged into a USB-C dock, meaning I cannot control my headset volume using the system "sound control slider" or my keyboard shortcuts / dedicated keys ("The selected device has no output controls" I see in Preferences > Sound)
  • I can, of course, control the sound level of individual apps from the app themselves
  • In BackgroundMusic the system sound control slider is greyed-out but I can still control individual apps volume
  • So I'm wondering it maybe it would be possible to use the sound control keyboard keys to decrease the volume of all/some apps?

Thanks for the help!
