Mouse Scroll wheel volume control

On the system default volume icon, I can place my cursor over the volume slider, then use the mouse scroll wheel to raise/lower the volume. This is a very handy and fast way to adjust the volume. I would be interested in seeing the same functionality available for at least the main volume, but ideally for all of the volume sliders in the window.
