I've tested Background Music on an M1 Mac Mini, but it wasn't that much testing. I'm pretty sure I didn't test using it for more than a minute. I'll try to remember to test that next time I get a chance.

You could try getting some debug logs if you have a little time: https://github.com/kyleneideck/BackgroundMusic/wiki/Getting-Debug-Logs

How is Chrome related to the bug exactly? Does the bug not occur if you don't have Chrome open?

There's a slightly newer snapshot build you could try, but there's only a small chance of that fixing your issue. https://github.com/kyleneideck/BackgroundMusic/releases/tag/0.4.0-SNAPSHOT-b38f6dd

Hey, I tried doing the debug thing and this is how it turned out: Debug.txt

If I didn't do it right, I can try retrying. The bug only appears to be happening on chrome and I have not tried reproducing the bug without Chrome open. By the way, there was an issue in my bug log because I said I was on c0ab98b but I forgot I changed to the latest one recently.
